  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  4. Add milk and stir until dough forms.

  5. Knead dough on floured surface for 1 minute.

  6. Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thickness.

  7. Cut dough into circles using a biscuit cutter.

  8. Place biscuits on a greased baking sheet.

  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
